Trying to sort the Pug’s turn signal issue, and then I find the following..
Passenger side (right) - spring-loaded contacts that supposedly don’t work regardless of position, and however much i bend the ground terminal out?
Driver’s side (left) - Later revision wire direct to the contacts, works perfectly.
How bad of an idea is it to modify the passenger side to be like the driver’s? Parking light circuit is also going to be modified.\
Swapped bulbs and housings on either side, and of course, bulbs worked, the housing on the passenger side did not, even when installed on the left.

The simplest fix is just to swap the badge for a BMW one.

‘simple’ is only temporary. once the badge falls off it’s back to square one.

At least you got yours out, I just spent an hour trying to remove the one nut holding in my turn signal assembly and gave up. Buying more clear lens tape tomorrow.

I really don’t get it. Parts on this car are so easy to replace, but trivial things like an oil change are supposedly made to be as miserable as possible.
